Throughout my career in public health, I’ve learned that the best way to achieve collective impact is through building meaningful relationships with community partners. By working together and building upon each other’s strengths, organizations can most effectively meet the needs of underserved populations. I strive to cultivate these relationships every day in Florida’s Panhandle community.
– Katie Williams, Community Engagement Manager
As an individual with numerous intersecting identities, I understand how difficult it can be to navigate the fragmented health and social care systems in Florida. Because of my experiences, I feel personally invested in the hard work of helping individuals access the care they need and want, and feel that it is my responsibility to help to innovate further in this field to continue to transform the systemic barriers that others in my community face.
